Opening up works for investigation

DMC will work alongside the clients appointed Architects, Structural Engineers and/or Fire Engineers to ensure they can gather enough information required by the client.
Building refurbishment:
DMC will attend site to open up certain areas on a building which have been requested by the clients Architect and/or Structural Engineer to enable the Engineers to evaluate the structural integrity of the building and report back to the client and/or building owner.
This will then set the standard for future building plans whether that is multi story extensions, roofing works or a general refurbishment.
All areas opened will then be closed by DMC making good of any areas required and also in keeping with the current building aesthetics.
Fire Risk Assessment of the External walls (FRAEW):
DMC will work along side the clients appointed Fire Engineer who will perform a Fire Risk Assessment of the External walls (FRAEW). The purpose of a FRAEW is to confirm the current make up of a building and to advise if it meets current Fire Safety regulations.
DMC will open up certain areas of the building requested by the Fire Engineer for a review to take place of the different façade systems of the building including the make, model and installation of cavity barriers, cavity closers, insulation and various other components.
A report will be produced by the Fire Engineer advising the client of the current building system build up and if any remedial works are required to enable the building to meet current standards.
Once the investigations are complete DMC will re-instate each opened facade system in keeping with the current building aesthetics.
