Opening up works and observational reporting
It is important that our clients understand the current condition of their building , which is the reason why DMC offer an observational reporting service.
The observational reporting service usually works along side a Fire Risk Assessment of the External walls (FRAEW) executed by an appointed Fire Engineer but can also act as an independent report as information for the client.
DMC will open up certain areas of the building for a review to take place of the different façade systems of the building including the installation of cavity barriers, cavity closers, insulation type, etc. The survey will be based on visual checks alongside supporting photographic evidence to give a general view of the facade systems, which will be documeted for the client.
Once the investigations are complete the facade areas will be re-instated.
